Scope
Since 2001, the Food Factory conferences are jointly organized by Laval Mayenne Technopole and SIK (the Swedish Institute for Food and Biotechnology). They take place every two years, alternately in Gothenburg (2001, 2006, and 2010) and Laval (2004, 2008 and 2012).
The objective is to establish and meet periodically, at European scale and internationally, a scientific and industrial community around the concept of the food factory of the future, especially on three major aspects: the control of contaminations, the reducing the environmental impact and optimization of production processes (flexibility, automation, control).
Year after year, the conferences «Food Factory for the Future» have become the biannual event of a network of expertise.
Food Factory 2012 will be held at the theater of Laval, in the heart of downtown. |
